Are you ready for some holiday fun? It’s time to bundle up, get some hot chocolate, and check out Lightscape at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Trek through the garden after dark on illuminated trails. This exciting yearly event has several holiday favorites, including the singing trees and the Winter Cathedral. Lightscape has also added colorful and dazzling new installations for 2021 that you won’t want to miss.

Lightscape at Chicago Botanic Garden 

Be sure to bundle up for this outdoor evening event! Tickets are on sale now and they sell out fast. Lightscape is a timed-entry event and runs nightly from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with the last entry at 9:00 pm. They open for the holiday season on November 12 and run through the New Year, closing on January 2. The event will be closed on November 25 and December 24 & 25.

Tickets for Lightscape range in price and depend on the day and time of your visit. Discounts are available for those with memberships at the Chicago Botanic Garden.  Adult tickets range from $24-$28, Children 3-12 are between $12-$15, and children under 3 are free anytime. You will need to purchase parking for the Garden for $20 on-site or $10 in advance. There is a special Flex Ticket in 2021 for $75 per person that allows you entry anytime between 5pm and 9pm for the date you choose and includes parking. There is a $2 upcharge per ticket if you purchase tickets the day of the event.
