Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-lanterns

Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-lanterns features hand-carved pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. The largest pumpkins are a whopping 150 pounds! Professional pumpkin carvers created superhero pumpkins, celebrity pumpkins, and Chicago pumpkins. Starting at the esplanade and lining the pathway, 1,000 LED-lit jack-o’-lanterns will line the Chicago Botanic Garden.

Attendees can enjoy light refreshments along the trail. Live entertainment like costumed entertainers and pumpkin carving will also be available. The event runs from October 13 to 17 and October 20 to 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Garden members can purchase adult tickets for $16 and child tickets for $12. Non-members can purchase adult tickets for $18 and child tickets for $14. Children under 2 get in for free!
